It's official…I'm in love with India. It's been about two weeks since we've landed and I've really grown to love this place. I love the colors, the friendly people, the beaches, the yoga classes and most of all the spicy food. On this trip I've experienced a very different kind of vacation than I ever have before and it's been great. India is a place everyone should definitely explore, because there is so much to see here and it's very different here than anywhere else. The place we are at now, Varkala, is quite small, but beautiful. There are beaches and a mountain cliff, where many restaurants and little shops are located. There are a lot of tasty restaurants which offer Indian foods, tourist shops which sell ornaments, clothes, scarfs, etc. Our hotel here is very extravagant and soo nice! We love the poolside especially. Here's some pictures of the first part of our stay in Varkala:
